Koinar Biblical AI is built on the work of translators, scholars, and open-data projects. This page is their roll call. Every data release ships with a manifest recording each file's source, license, and checksum — the same provenance the assistant itself can show you.

Scripture Texts

Every verse the assistant serves is retrieved from these texts — verified at rest, never generated.

Berean Standard Bible (BSB)

The primary English translation served by Koinar — 31,102 verses across 66 books. Dedicated to the public domain (CC0) by the Berean Bible project at Bible Hub.

Greek New Testament — Byzantine Majority Text

Robinson-Pierpont Byzantine Majority Text with Strong's numbers and morphology. Public domain. Where its textual basis diverges from other traditions, the assistant says so rather than papering over it.

Septuagint — Rahlfs 1935

The Greek Old Testament, including 1–4 Maccabees. Public domain. Together the original-language texts total about 1.36 million tagged words.

Strong's Concordance

James Strong, 1890 — complete H1–H8674 and G1–G5624. Public domain. Treated as a historical reference: the assistant is built to prefer usage-in-context over bare etymology.

Cross-References

Connections between passages carry the community vote counts they arrived with — the assistant cites them, it doesn't invent them.

Entity profiles cite Easton's Bible Dictionary, Smith's Bible Dictionary, the International Standard Bible Encyclopedia, and the works of Josephus — all public domain. Over 42,000 citations connect profile claims back to these sources; claims that could not be verified against a source are marked as such rather than removed or invented.
